Beans and wieners tonight or "Memories of Killarney". When my parents were healthy we would always go as a family to Fairbanks or Killarney, have a bonfire and picnic, and see the beautiful fall colors. Nothing like beans bubbling in an old pot over the fire with chopped up wieners. Love them.
Of course, starving from missing lunch and just an egg on toast for breakfast helped in enjoying this meal.
My family thinks I'm nuts. Son is getting out tomorrow as he hates eggs, pasta or rice and thats pretty well all we have left (other than a tin of ....yes....tuna). Wife is having movement issues; she is used to eating fruit, vegetable, and salad. If things don't improve in that department by tomorrow she will have to bail. Just as well, we don't have enough food to last much past Tuesday anyways.
I'm having fun, but its fun because its only a week and I know that. Think if you were looking at this for the foreseeable future with no improvement in sight. There but for the grace of ..... go I. I'm non-religious but I so love the truth of that saying.
